The mission of Heart House is to use education as a catalyst to combat poverty and promote equity for the most vulnerable in our city: refugees, immigrants, and low-income children.
AN EDUCATION NON-PROFIT
Helping refugee kids
Heart House is an education non-profit that serves refugee children with a holistic after-school and summer program, utilizing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to help them thrive in their new community. We’re located in the same residential areas as the families, offering a safe space for kids to learn, gain new experiences, and grow. We’re dedicated to meeting the academic and emotional needs of refugee children, because every child deserves a chance to reach their full potential.
