School Year AmeriCorps Intern
Join Heart House from September to May for 20 hours a week and support teachers and staff in providing amazing programming to students! As an AmeriCorps member, you will receive a stipend and an education award that can be used towards tuition or loans.

Work Study
Are you a current university student who is looking for a community service work opportunity?
We have teacher assistant opportunities available. With Work-Study, you can earn college credit while earning money and gaining real, valuable work experience. Work-study awards vary by educational institution. Please consult with your Financial Aid office regarding your school’s work-study policy. Interested to learn more or apply? Are you looking to gain experience in social work, nonprofit management, education, or community service? If you are and our Work Study/Americorps positions don’t work for your school or schedule, we are happy to work with prospective interns one-on-one to create an internship plan that will best suit your professional goals and your schedule. Summer AmeriCorps Intern
Same type of internship but in shorter, more intensive span of time. Join Heart House from June to July and commit 40 hours a week to supporting the teachers and providing great programming for the students. As an AmeriCorps member, you will receive a stipend and an education award that can be used towards tuition or loans.
